Model railway layouts built by JRS members could be seen at the following model railway exhibitions:
2010 AGM: May 22nd 2010. Times: 12.00 onward for 13.15 start.
Usual venue: Model Railway Club, Calshot St, nr Kings X station.
Free Food; drinks at bar; selection of shop sales. Also: Chairman's
video of Autumn 2009 visit to Hiroshima area and Nagoya's Meiji Mura
museum, including steaming of Sharp-Stewart 1874 loco and Baldwin 1912
loco.
Please note that exhibition dates and layouts attending are subject to unannounced change.
Japan Day in Liverpool on July 19th 2008.
The event was
held in Mountford Hall of Liverpool University, which is the University
Guild of Students building at the top of Brownlow Hill, the street to
the immediate right of the landmark Adelphi Hotel.
It
was opened by the Japanese Ambassador who will be welcomed by the
Lord Mayor of Liverpool (and, we hope, the University Vice-Chancellor).
