Freight trains on the Takashima line.
The Takashima line forms the freight access to the Negishi line avoiding the nearby Yokohama passenger station. The line diverges from the Tōkaidō Main Line at Higashi Kanagawa, and rejoins the Negishi Line near Sakuragichō.
The freight traffic is petroleum tankers from/to the Negishi Refinery opposite Negishi station. David Dibben has shared his photos from a level crossing immediately to the west of Higashi Takashima Freight Station.
