C6120 SL Retro Minakami
JR East regularly operate steam locomotive C 6120 along the Jōetsu Railway from Takasaki to Minakami, a distance of 59 km.
During August 1973 C 6120 was taken out of service and placed on static display in Kezoji Park in Isesaki, a city in Gunma Prefecture , with the aim of teaching the next generation about the railway heritage of steam locomotives. In 2010, C 6120 underwent restoration work was back in traffic during March 2011.
