Snowy Days
As winter approaches in the northern hempisphere, this month we take a look at a few snowy scenes from around Japan.

JR Hokkaidō 731 series 3 car EMU shown drawing to a halt at Kita Hiroshima on the Chitose Line south of Sapporo. 8th January 2010.
A JR East 115 series EMU shown arriving at Koide on the Jōetsu Line. 22nd March 2011.
JR West 223 series EMU shown arriving at Maibara on the Tōkaidō Main Line during a heavy snow storm. The storm on this day caused widespread disruption to services in the Kansai & Chūbu areas, with snow seen falling as far away as Toyohashi - an area which typically sees very few snowy days at all. 16th January 2011.
